This was just this past weekend where Kayla would put the stars back on the pole. We haven't really seen her being able to do this on her own but today she just decided she could. :) Guess they learn on there own time! That brains working over time these days I tell ya!

Kayla at Country Jam in Eau Claire, WI

We decided to go and join my dad and my aunt and uncle up at Country Jam in Eau Claire, WI on saturday because we could get into the concerts for free because Justin's military status. We got there and it was sunny and not long after we arrived they were calling for severe weather. It did rain a lot but ended up clearing up for the last couple acts! It was fun to give Kayla her first camping experience and good quality time with Grandpa. He watched her while mommy and daddy got to go to the concerts that night! :) She had a great time as you can see..and no we really didn't let her drink the beer :) Made for some funny pictures though! Enjoy!

I'm a big girl now!

We had to go home to LaCrosse this past weekend on short notice so we got to try out Kayla's new forward facing car seat! She lasted about 5 min and passed out for the ride home. Mommy and Daddy love it because we get to see our baby girl and she doesn't cry every time she sees her car seat now! It's a win win for everyone!

Kayla's First Fourth of July in Wisconsin

Well we had a good 4th of July this year. We went back to LaCrosse on thursday night. We couldn't have had better weather. It was fun to get the kids outside together. Kayla had her first Mr.Freezy and she cried and cried when it was all gone :) We also went to a farm so Kayla got to see cows, pigs, and chickens up close. She didn't know what to think :) She just liked playing in the grass and eating it. I swear she is like a little vacuum. We went to Riverfest which is down by the Mississippi River and watched the fireworks on the 4th. We had a front row seat and after all the action and waiting till 10pm when they started, Kayla actually feel asleep for half of them. She also took 5 steps with Grandpa and Uncle Elgin. It won't be to long before shes able to walk every where on her own! We hope you and your families had a great 4th and thanks for visiting. More pics to come..... Playing outside with the boys
