We had a great day on Kayla's 1st birthday. We started the day by going to Baby's R Us and taking her pictures. She did very well and didn't fuss once! She also picked out her first baby doll that Nancy and Riley bought her. Then we met daddy for lunch at Applebee's and she was a good eater. Then she took a nap on our way back after dropping Justin off at work, which was good she needed it! Then we decided to go out on a friend of ours boat. She didn't care for the life jacket so we held her tight the entire time. She even got to drive as you can see below! It was the perfect end to a great day and Kayla had so much fun she feel asleep sitting up :) We were going to stop at Dairy Queen on the way home to get an ice cream treat for her but she didn't even wake up for that! :) I've also posted pictures from our trip to Iowa for Justin's cousins wedding where we got to celebrate her birthday with them seeing we don't get to see all of them to often. Kayla had a blast at the wedding and even did a little dancing! Her Aunt Alison and Uncle Peter were there too which made the trip even better! Well hope you enjoy the pics! Oh and we got a new addition to our family, a female black lab Dakota who's 1 and a half. She's been a lot of fun, a little hard to get used to but she makes a great addition to the family. And I couldn't get the pictures in order so thats why they are here and there :) Sorry..this thing has a mind of it's own sometimes.
